Green whip snake (Ahaetulla nasuta) near Tinoor, Tomohon, North-East Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The snake was hiding on the ledge by the path and lunged at the guide's ankles as he walked past. Bagus, the guide, got away without being bitten. Some shouting ensued, a local worker hurried over from the field and killed the snake with a stick.
